Dan Brazda
Dan Brazda is the executive producer of VCU TV/HD. He considers himself a filmmaker first and foremost and wants to adapt that mindset to television. He came to VCU from Los Angeles, where he served as creative director and director of production for the KTTV Fox 11, KCOP UPN 13 duopoly. Brazda brings more than 25 years of filmmaking experience to VCU having produced dozens of Emmy, Addy and Promax Gold Medallion award-winning commercials, documentaries and image promotion campaigns across the country. He also wrote, co-produced, directed and edited his own feature film, and owned his own film production company.
Lisa Figueroa
Lisa Figueroa — VCU School of Mass Communications alumna — is the senior producer for VCU TV/HD. She joined the studio in the spring of 2006 as one of the first student employees and produced four and half hours of programming before graduating. Among her accomplishments since joining VCU-TV/HD full time, include an Emmy for “VCU Qatar” and an Accolade award for the “VCU-TV/HD Webisodes.”
