In 1998, Virginia Commonwealth University opened its doors to 35 students with its first branch campus in Doha, Qatar. Focusing on the field of design, VCUQ was the first of several universities to form Education City, a 2,500-acre campus that aims to be a leader in progressive education and cutting-edge research.

Now celebrating its 10th year in Qatar, VCUQ continues to make an impact on the community and its students.
