VCU-TV/HD is offering an introductory course starting with the spring semester of 2010. Introductory and advanced courses will be available beginning fall 2010. Students will learn how to produce cinema-verite documentary programs from pre- to post-production using the latest high-definition equipment in the broadcast/film industry.
There are no prerequisites for the introductory course and it is available for all majors. The prerequisite for the advanced course will be earning an A or B in the introductory course. Exceptional completion of the advanced course can lead to internships and/or paid positions.
